Jack Faber is a filmmaker and artist-researcher, whose practice explores the intersections of ecology, militarization, and technology. His work investigates how contested landscapes—particularly in Arctic and sensitive ecological regions—are shaped by interspecies relations, surveillace economies and digital acceleration. Through moving images, site-responsive installations, photography and participatory cinematic works, Faber examines the tension between security, environmental change, and the ethical engagement of communities and animals. His projects often focus on lived experiences, speculative narratives, and field-based research, reframing less known territories as sites of critical inquiry and artistic exploration.
